Ron Dirksen is an upstream executive and drilling leader with more than 45 years of international experience in well construction, drilling technology, formation evaluation and operational leadership.
His career combines hands-on engineering with business leadership: managing billion-dollar portfolios, leading organizations of more than 10,000 people and advancing drilling innovation through more than 30 patents. He is also Chief Executive Officer of Terra Altai, where he helps shape AI-enabled consulting, software and capability development for the energy sector.
Drilling and business leadership
As Vice President of Drilling at Olive Energy, Ron oversees complex drilling programs and business operations, connecting technical planning, execution discipline and commercial performance.
Owner-side project delivery
As Drilling Manager for Dover Investments, he leads planning and delivery for the BGR-1 re-entry and completion program, including intervention readiness, contractor coordination, logistics, cost control and operational continuity.
